Welcome to The Steward Clinic! Below you will find the new patient process.

Every new patient process starts with a no-charge phone consultation. The new patient process is spread out over three visits. Below, you will find the entire process in detail

Before The Appointment + Consultation

Step 1: Contact us for a no-charge phone consultation. Dr. Steward offers every new prospective patient a free phone consultation to determine if our care is right for you and to discuss the costs of care.

Step 2: Schedule your new patient examination.

Step 3: Complete the new patient intake forms that will be emailed to you.

Step 3: Forward any past medical records to our clinic.

Visit #1: The New Patient Examination ~ 1 Hour

Step 1: You will be welcomed by our friendly office assistant, Ashley.

Step 2: You will discuss your comprehensive health history with Dr. Steward.

Step 3: Dr. Steward will perform a thorough hands-on physical exam, including neurological, autonomic, orthopedic, and upper cervical chiropractic.

Step 4: Next is any warranted advanced technology testing, such as computerized balance testing (posturography), infrared video-goggle (VOG) testing, and/or vestibulo-ocular reflex (vHIT) testing.

Step 5: Lastly, if your case warrants upper cervical imaging, a Cone Beam CT will be conducted on-site.

Visit #2: Report of Findings and Initial Treatment

On the third visit, you will discuss all of your findings and the plan to get you back to where you want your health to be. You both will discuss:

  • What the problem is

  • What could have caused it

  • What we need to do to correct it

  • How long it will take

  • What it will cost
